Dunlop winter tires Knobby winter tires in the 60s become smoother in the 80s. The M2 debuts in 1993, the M3 in 2000.

snow chains Extreme snow may still require snow chains. Tirechain.com (Drives a G and ML.) Rud Chain (US) Pewag snow chains (Europe) TCR Tire Chains Required (Northern California) Laclede Chain Manufacturing Company Chains should be fitted to the rear tires on M-Classes according to the owners' manual. In early MLs chains should be fitted to all four wheels. Check your owner's manual.
