ML Trip Computer

M-Class Model 163 trip computer '98+

System Description

The trip computer in the overhead console can be toggled between date, stop watch, current fuel consumption, average fuel consumption, distance to empty, in miles or kilometers and can be turned off. It's also a sensor for the alarm system. It monitors glass breakage through an integrated interior microphone and detects vehicle inclination, the tow-away, anti-theft protection. Starting in model year '01 a magnetic compass was added. Starting in model year '02 the compass can be calibrated.
