Light Switch

This stubby ML light stalk is clearly marked and functional and is commonly used in commercial Mercedes-Benz vehicles like for example the popular Sprinter cargo and passenger turbodiesel vans.

new in 2002: The headlight assistant switches the headlights on automatically when it gets dark. And it can do the following: Switch on the exterior lights with the remote control, keep the front and rear lights lit after locking the vehicle. The light- and rain-sensor are integrated.

The typical Mercedes interface with the Barényi switch was installed for example in the 1972 600 or 1973 450SE. The washer-wiper is operated by a floor switch, quite unusual, and even some mechanics are not aware of it.
