The details which count

- The front half axle double wishbone suspension receive Dynam shocks while retaining the torsion bar. It is possible to stiffen it a little, but trade off any discrepancy with the shock absorbers.

- A solid combined spring/shock (hydrostrut) allows our ML to deal with almost all situations with great effectiveness.

- With this central kevlar slider the rear transmission components and triangular suspension subframe bushings are protected.

- The diesel filter is easily accessible with its restart dome. Sorry for the smell!

- The third seat, that of the mechanic on the Dakar, is mounted on a turntable. To note in the foreground, cans of engine fluids are strapped in their aluminium receptacle. The oil is just behind the copilot seat.

- The tirerack, an effective manner to carry two spare wheels while leaving space for a tank and camping materials.
