M-Class Amperage Draw Test
A "blown" fuse was soldered to a DVM with a 10 A range.
Simply insert this connector into the test circuit by
replacing the fuse in the fuse box.
Testing the driver's window lifter circuit. The DVM can be read from inside the ML.
Some Fuses (99 ML320, others may be similar)
Fuse 1 20A front outlet
Fuse 4 30A electric sunroof
Fuse 10 10A ignition switched 12V: radio, tripcomp, cig. lighter, glove compart., vanity mirror illum. (moved in 00+)
Fuse 13 10A instrument cluster, steering angle sensor, diagnostic, tripcomputer
Fuse 17 20A rear outlet
Fuse 21 20A constant 12V: radio, Bose sound system
Fuse 29 30A window lifter, left front and right rear, tolerance 4 to 12 AMPS
Fuse 30 30A window lifter, right front and left rear, tolerance 4 to 12 AMPS
Fuse 38 20A fuel pump, normal range 9 A +/- 1.5 A, above that could be a problem
Fuse 41 25A auxiliary coolant recirculation and E-box blower
Fuse 44 30A A/C cooling fans
Test values in a 99 ML 320 at 40K

| LR window 5A UP 4A DN |
RR window 6A UP 5A DN |
| Fuel pump 6 A |
| Aux coolant recir (1.0 A) and E-box fan (0.15 A)
