COLUMBUS, Ohio, Jan. 11 -- With its excellent maneuverability, generous headroom, efficient fuel mileage, impressive durability and spacious interior, the Dodge Sprinter's popularity in the custom conversion industry continues to grow. The first luxury Sprinter conversion in the United States was performed in 2002 by Creative Mobile Interiors (CMI), the pioneer in Sprinter conversions.

CMI continues to lead the way in converting luxury motor homes and mobile offices on the Sprinter chassis and also has spearheaded some very unconventional conversions as well.

For example, CMI created the ultimate custom tailgater for an extreme Baltimore Ravens' Fan. The heart and soul of this Sprinter is the entertainment center with a 42" Philips flat screen TV, 3000-watt sound system, DVD player, 12" sub woofer and a strobe light package. Other amenities include video game hook ups, a high-end sound system, an impressive bathroom (of course), a refrigerator and sink, plenty of cabinets for storage and four leather captain seats that swivel 360 degrees. And no tailgater would be complete without an inmotion satellite dish mounted on the roof to catch all the game action.

Another very bright but functional Sprinter was created for a dog handler and includes space for kennels, a bathroom, small galley, storage cabinets, a grooming area and 12' awning. It even has a 7' umbrella that can be mounted to the rear of the van. The yellow exterior includes custom graphics capturing the beauty and action of her Portuguese Water Dogs.

Also brightly adorned is a mobile marketing Sprinter that provides consumers the opportunity to try the company's products and services right on board. Samples of the company's products are displayed in the rear of the van on the doors and on an innovative mechanical Joey bed. A mirrored sunken display case and a 42" plasma TV with DVD player showcase the company's products.

A recently delivered mini mobile medical unit features a front waiting room and back exam area. The two rooms are separated by a full partition made of one-way mirrored safety glass. The rear room area contains a small refrigerator, a single seat to draw blood and a meeting table area complete with pedestal seating. The Sprinter is fully self-sufficient with an onboard 6500-watt Honda gas generator.

As the uses of the agile Sprinter continue to expand, CMI will continue to create unique and impressive Sprinter conversions. Along with Sprinter conversions, CMI also converts a large variety of motor coaches, trailers and mini-coaches. Founded in 1999, CMI is headquartered in four plants totaling 21,000 square feet in Grove City, Ohio. CMI can be reached at (614) 539-4600, or at http://www.creativemobileinteriors.com.
